A member of my computers family is terminally ill.
Steve, being the generous and wonderful person he is, purchased a hard drive for me. And even put it in my computer and reinstalled Windows on it. Such a nice guy!
Unfortunately, a little while later when I came home, and was planning to move everything off my old ill drive, it said “screw you” and now I can no longer get to it. All my images, and ebooks, Opera bookmarks and all of the stuff I wrote are gone. So sad. But I refuse to mourn the lost too much, because it was my own stupid fault for not backing my important stuff up. Especially when I knew the drive was having problems. Oh well…
Nonetheless, I’m grateful I have a working computer. Thank you Steve!
